TORN: BY MARGARET PETERSON HADDIX

Product Details

REVIEW: ****

I gave this book four out of five stars. It was utterly AMAZING. I was so excited about the theme! I had one question throughout this book that wasn’t answered until the end of the last book in the series. I liked how Margaret had history mixed into a totally fiction plot line. It wasn’t anything like I had read before. One of the best books in the series.

SUMMARY:

Jonah and Katherine are sent back in time onto Henry Hudson’s boat! As you know that Henry Hudson was sent onto a shallop and abandoned into the seas. Jonah and Katherine climb onto the boat when Katherine is invisible and Jonah is disguised as John Hudson, Henry’s son.  The way that history is supposed to go is that whoever is on the shallop dies and starves. Second, who his full name is Second Chance, pulls them back onto the ship. Second explains that the paradoxes split and Katherine and Jonah have to go and recreate that moment correctly. When they are about to die, Second pulls them out of time. Everyone can go home until Katherine and Jonah’s next journey. Read to find out more, I recommend it!.
