I could NOT put this book down. It is a winding road of adventure. Packed in with exciting twist, sad parts, and parts where it made you want to throw the book out of the window. Obviously I didn’t throw it out the window because I kept reading.  By the way, DON’T throw it out the window, you’ll thank me later. Anyway, it has a shocking ending having you racing to the book store to get the second book.

 

SUMMARY:

In Quill, there are three categories you could be sorted into when you turn 13. The strong, the wanted, and worst of all, the unwanted. The unwanted category gets you sent to the death farm. What is the death farm you ask? Well, the death farm is a tar pit that the quill guards plunge you in to. But when the two twins, Arron and Alex are split up, both are longing for each other. Well at least Alex is. Alex is sent to the death farm along with others but isn’t put into the tar pit. Marcus (Mr. Today) appears and the unwanteds are put into a magical castle. The unwanteds all have talents, and in Artime( the magical castle) the unwanteds study their talents they seem to have. Now once the unwanteds have reached a certain level, they are sent to study magical arts in their talents. All of the unwanteds are to battle the highest priest Justine, the leader of quill.  Will they win? And more importantly, will they survive? Read the book to find out more, I recommend it!
